Spring is always a busy time of year for us and this year will prove to be the same. We held a very special event this month on Friday, April 10^th when we welcomed Allison Oliver, Illustrator of the extremely popular BabyLit Series of children’s books. BabyLit is a fashionable way to introduce your child to the world of classic literature including new arrivals The Secret Garden and Don Quixote. Other books include The Adventures of Huckleberry Fin, Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Moby Dick, Allison in Wonderland, Romeo and Juliet and more. Allison was visiting from NYC and signed books and prints which were available for purchase.

One thing that I absolutely love to do is carry things that mean something to me, and this is/was a perfect example of that! I grew up living right next door to Allison in Louisville, KY and always knew she would be a great success!  Allison owns her own design company in New York, called “Sugar” and has done so many amazing projects…I literally want to be her! When she arrived at Be, there were at least 15 to 20 people waiting for her, all very excited to meet her and have her sign their books…it was just the perfect day with a perfect life-long friend!
